- Authors must notify the editors of any potential conflict of interest that could influence the results or interpretation of their article and must guarantee that all possible copyright-related conflicts have been resolved.
- Reviewers must decline to evaluate a manuscript if a conflict of interest exists due to competitive, collaborative, or other relationships with any of the authors, companies, or organizations associated with the submitted work.
- Editorial staff must recuse themselves from considering materials in which they have a conflict of interest.
