All manuscripts submitted to Perspectiva Temporis are reviewed with due regard for the confidentiality of the authors. By submitting their work, authors entrust the Editorial Board with the results of their scholarly research and creative efforts, upon which their professional reputation and career may depend. Furthermore, the journal strictly upholds the right of reviewers to confidentiality. Any breach of confidentiality is permitted only in cases of suspected academic dishonesty or research misconduct on the part of the author.
The Editorial Board shall not disclose information regarding a manuscript—including its receipt, content, current status in the review process, reviewers' critiques, or the final editorial decision—to any third parties other than the authors and the assigned reviewers. The Editorial Board regularly informs reviewers that the manuscripts submitted to them for evaluation are the intellectual property of the authors and constitute non-disclosing information. Reviewers are prohibited from making copies of manuscripts for personal use or sharing them for review or discussion with third parties without express authorization from the Editorial Board.
Reviewer reports are confidential; the identity of the reviewer is known only to the Editor-in-Chief and the Executive Secretary. This information is not subject to disclosure. In certain instances, reviewers' comments may be shared anonymously with other experts evaluating the same manuscript to facilitate a more detailed and rigorous analysis. Reviewers may also be notified of the editor's final decision to accept or reject the manuscript.
The Editorial Board of Perspectiva Temporis strongly recommends that authors familiarize themselves with this Privacy Policy before submitting their manuscripts for consideration.
